JOB DESCRIPTION

TransCentral's primary business is in delivering new, heavy duty trucks for manufactures. All units are driven to the specified delivery location, we do not deck trucks or tow anything behind the trucks. The drivers we hire are professionals and realize that they themselves are a reflection of the manufacturers we work for.

TransCentral delivers trucks throughout the entire continental United States. The majority of the deliveries involve one to five nights out before returning home. Upon delivery, the drivers are returned to their point of origin via a flight, a rental car, or a combination of both.

Available work is part-time, but we are able to keep you very busy if that's what you are looking for. Work can be sporadic depending on how busy our clients are and you must be in a position to be busy at times and slow at other times. There are no additional benefits that come with the position but you do have the freedom to work when you want.

QUALIFICATIONS

Drivers must hold a current class A or B CDL and be in compliance with current and past DOT regulations. A current medical card is also required. Three years verifiable CDL truck driving experience. Drive-away experience and OTR helpful and must have an excellent previous driving record.

1. Class A or B CDL with Air Brake Endorsement.
2. Current DOT Medical Card.
3. 3 years verifiable CDL experience within past 10 years.
4. Excellent driving record.
5. You must be capable of handling situations that may occur on the road.
6. Posses and maintain a cell phone.
7. Must be capable of receiving emails and printing paperwork at home. And, scanning paperwork and emailing it to the office.
8. Must reside within a reasonable distance of our primary points of origin, NE WI, or Bradenton FL as most job assignments involve very short notice. (Normally next day departures). ​
